Veridical's purpose is to provide a reliable trading system giving low risk entry signals into the US equity indices. The trading system provides exceptional results by combining technical analysis with external market indicators.
Around 80% of the trading system signals are profitable. Furthermore, the average profitable signal has generated around 30 S&P points, while the average loss was only around 10 S&P points.
Veridical has recently joined forces with Collective 2 to have our results independently verified and to allow more flexible trading options including SMS alerts and autotrading accounts. See recent unleveraged results below:
The trading system uses traditional technical analysis but gains a competitive edge by using our own indicators based on investor sentiment and options pricing.
By combining these indicators with traditional technical analysis, the improvement in the performance of the market signals generated is dramatic. Take a look at our trading system results here.

How the trading system works
By eliminating technical analysis signals that are not confirmed by our own market sentiment indicators, low risk entry points are generated, eliminating much of the downside risk before taking a position.
The trading system triggers signals based on closing SP500 prices. This is NOT a daytrading service. Signals usually last days or weeks, so unlike high frequency trading you don't have to give back most of the profits in broker fees and spreads.
The SP500 is an excellent barometer of the overall market so that the signals can be used for a variety of purposes including e-mini futures, options or as a trend guide to support your own analysis. However, this is my read on the market, you must do your own due diligence (please see the disclaimer).
If you would like to be updated on the signals our trading system has generated before you subscribe, you can request receipt of free notifications here.
Signal e-mails are sent well in advance of the next day's market open and the current signal page is also updated at this time.
Below is an example of how using the sentiment indicator as part of our trading system has worked to reduce risk and dramatically increase the reliability of signals:
This example demonstrates how using a traditional indicator, in this case the stochastic oscillator, can give unreliable signals, but when combined with the sentiment indicator the trading system risk is reduced and the correct entry point was identified.
